
At Carson Valley Medical Center, we highly value continuing education. To ensure our nurses achieve their highest career ambitions and ensure our patients receive the best in care, CVMC offers nursing tuition reimbursement.
For our nurses, the CVMC tuition reimbursement program helps nurses with the cost of acquiring additional skills, training, certifications and/or advanced degrees.
Nurses play a large role in their treatment and care for our patients, often carrying out doctors’ orders. Highly trained nurses improve patient outcomes and postoperative complications are reduced. Our patients also enjoy continuity of care throughout their lifetimes when nurses are allowed to pursue higher education where they are currently employed.
Full/Part-Time Employees are eligible to participate in the Tuition Reimbursement Program, beginning the first of the month, following 30 days of employment.
