At the Carson Valley Medical Center Hospital Foundation, our purpose is to create resources that help the organization fulfill its mission to care for the health and wellness of our community.
As a result of a community member's request and support, CVMC created the Pink Ribbon Fund for patients receiving care at a CVMC facility for their breast cancer diagnosis or treatment.
The Pink Ribbon Fund is fully funded by community support and donations. One hundred percent of the funds raised stay local and impact the lives of the patients in our community -- your family, your friends and your neighbors.
Applications for assistance can be found below. Assistance is available as long as funds are available and can be used for certain medical expenses relating to breast cancer diagnosis and treatment as well as non-medical expenses that could include complementary therapies and travel or lodging for treatment.
An application for Community Care/Financial Assistance must be filled out in addition to any applicable forms below:
For patients applying for assistance with CVMC services:

(This form goes to the CVMC Patient Financial Counselor -- 775.783.3080)
For patients applying for reimbursement of non-medical, treatment-related expenses:
If applying for assistance with complementary therapies/treatments, a CVMC
physician must sign off on the request for assistance form.
