Our expert care team works with qualified patients to create unique, multi-disciplinary treatment plans. We'll help you improve your strength and gain the independence you desire before returning to your home and family. So whether you're had an inpatient stay at CVMC or somewhere else, you can recover right here and we'll help you get back to doing the things you enjoy.
Daily therapy is centered on self-care and body strengthening, which will increase your independence and help prepare you for returning home. Our expert care team will create an individualized, multi-disciplinary treatment plan that outlines therapeutic recovery goals focused on restoring you to your normal level activity.
As a Swing Bed patient, you may remain in the program for as long as you have goals to obtain. Once your goals are met, you will be discharged from the program.
Our Swing Bed Program at Carson Valley Medical Center provides an opportunity for individuals who are continuing to recover, but no longer need an acute hospital setting. Specifically, it's for patients who no longer need acute-level care following an illness, stroke, injury, or surgery. Yet they're not quite physically able to return home and need a few more days to heal and regain their strength. Qualified patients who have been admitted to Carson Valley Medical Center for acute care can transfer to the Swing Bed Program for the rehabilitation phase of recovery without ever leaving the hospital.
Even patients who are in another acute care facility elsewhere can transfer to our Swing Beds Program here in Gardnerville, NV. This allows you to be close to home, family, and friends during your recovery.
Gain the independence you desire. Call 775.783.3079 today to speak with one of our professionals.
